    I think the mayor was wrong.The mayor could tell them to be calm and noy to worry.The city is running out of supplies cause they are underground and there is a new disease that make potatoes go bad.(a lot of people eats potatoes)(they are suppose to stay there for 220 years)Sara

    yes because he did not wont the people of ember scard. if i was mayor cole i would tell the people of ember the blackout will probly happen again but dont worrie. because they were under grownd and they dont have alot of things

    He could have said "It will be all right we will fix the lights.

    They run out of suplies because they are under grown
